The Oeko-Tex mark
Registered Mark and Licencing
The Oeko-Tex label is an internationally registered mark. Once products have been found to successfully meet the criteria of the standard and the producer has issued a "declaration of conformity", a 12 month licence is granted upon request, enabling the producer to use the mark or label as shown above. The terms outlining how to use the mark are described in the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Correct marking
To ensure the quality of the label and the traceablity of its use, the mark may only be used with a test report number and the reference to the institute issuing the certification.
A valid label can only be used for the licensed article groups as stated on the certificate. In every case, the label can only be used in conjunction these specified products.
